New Features Now Live: Smarter Waitlists, Booking Recovery & More

We’ve been listening closely to your feedback and we’ve been busy.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve rolled out a set of new features designed to help you fill more slots, reduce admin, and take more control of your bookings.

If you haven’t already, log in to your Portal and take a look here’s what’s new.

Smarter Waitlists

We’ve taken waitlists and made them far more intelligent.

If a customer’s chosen slot isn’t available, Bewkd can now suggest similar alternatives automatically, such as:

  • The same staff member
  • The same time on a different day
  • Other close matches

If they still want that exact slot, they can stay on the waitlist and get notified if it becomes available.

Waitlist Discounts

Last-minute cancellations are frustrating even if you keep the deposit, you’re still left with an empty slot.

With waitlist discounts, you can now:

  • Add a limited-time offer to waitlist notifications
  • Encourage customers to book quickly
  • Fill gaps faster when cancellations happen

It’s a simple way to turn a lost booking into a recovered one.

Abandoned Booking Recovery

Not every customer completes checkout but now, you can bring them back.

If someone starts a booking but doesn’t finish it, Bewkd can automatically send:

  • Up to two reminder emails
  • Timed nudges to encourage completion

This helps recover bookings that would otherwise be lost.

Re-book Prompts & Nudges

Many customers fully intend to return they just forget.

With re-book prompts, you can:

  • Set a time period since their last appointment
  • Customise the email wording to match your tone
  • Enable or disable prompts for specific services

Bewkd will then automatically remind customers when they’re due to book again.

Customer Blacklist

Sometimes, you need to protect your time.

If a customer repeatedly cancels or causes issues, you can now:

  • Block their email from making bookings
  • Add an internal note explaining why

From their side, it simply looks like the system isn’t allowing the booking.

Customer Booking Alerts

This feature came directly from user feedback thank you.

You can now add internal notes to a customer profile and enable alerts when they book.

Useful for things like:

  • Frequent cancellations
  • Allergies or special requirements
  • Important appointment notes

When they book, the reminder is shown instantly so you’re always prepared.

Dedicated Terms and Conditions

We’ve made this easier too.

Terms and conditions now have their own dedicated section, so you can:

  • Add clear booking policies
  • Keep everything structured and professional
  • Require customers to agree during checkout

No more workarounds needed.
