Bewkd Data Processing Agreement
1. Roles
Business users act as Data Controllers.
Bewkd acts as Data Processor for booking data submitted through the platform.
2. Purpose of Processing
Bewkd processes personal data solely to provide booking platform services including:
- appointment scheduling
- notifications
- account management
- system operations
3. Types of Data
Personal data processed may include:
- names
- email addresses
- phone numbers
- booking information
- service selections
- appointment notes
4. Security Measures
Bewkd implements appropriate technical and organisational measures including:
- encrypted data transmission
- secure infrastructure
- system monitoring
- access controls
5. Sub-Processors
Bewkd may engage trusted service providers including hosting, email and payment providers.
These providers are contractually required to protect personal data.
6. Data Breach Notification
Bewkd will notify affected Businesses without undue delay upon becoming aware of a data breach involving personal data.
7. Data Deletion
Upon termination of services, personal data will be deleted or returned in accordance with the Business's instructions unless required by law to retain it.
8. Compliance
Both parties agree to comply with applicable data protection laws including the UK GDPR.
