Bewkd was founded by Chris Goulding, a UK-based developer who spent years building websites and systems for service businesses.
Across those projects, one thing kept coming up: booking systems. Different businesses were using different platforms, but the feedback was always similar - they worked, but never quite how they needed them to.
Some were too basic and still relied heavily on messages and manual admin. Others were powerful but bloated, expensive, or difficult to actually use day-to-day.
Instead of trying to work around those limitations again and again, Chris took that feedback and built Bewkd from the ground up.
The goal was simple: create a booking platform that keeps things clean and easy for customers, while quietly solving the real operational problems behind the scenes.
